We stayed at Methow River Lodge for a weekend getaway. The location was ideal, with a bakery nearby for breakfast and easy access to downtown. The room was spacious, unlike other hotels/motels in the area. The staff was friendly and always available outside the office for toiletries, coffee, and tea. The owners clearly trusted their guests, providing everything we needed. And the best surprise was the silent AC unit! I've never stayed in a hotel where the AC was so quiet. I highly recommend this place.
Can recommend this hotel.

The room was spacious and clean, with a nice balcony overlooking a beautiful river. the location was great, with easy access to local coffee shops, bakeries, and breweries. We enjoyed strolling along the walking path and exploring the charming town.
We encountered a lack of staff interaction throughout our stay. When we went to check out, there was no one around to ask about the breakfast items or clarify if they were complimentary or had an additional charge.

I had such a wonderful stay at the Methow River Lodge! The location was excellent, with stunning views of the river and easy access to downtown. The rooms were clean, spacious, and had a cute rustic decor. I loved relaxing on the outdoor patio overlooking the river.
Another minor inconvenience was that the shower curtain was too short and water would spill onto the floor. It would be great if they could fix or replace it.

The location was great, away from the crowds but still within walking distance to restaurants and shops. the room was clean and had a balcony with a nice view. the staff was friendly.
The bed was uncomfortable and the curtains didn't block out the light, making it hard to sleep. the toilet was too short and there was no way to lock the room from the inside, which made us feel unsafe.

The location of the lodge was excellent, with a beautiful pedestrian bridge that allowed us to easily walk into town. We also loved the balcony overlooking the river, providing a stunning view. Another positive aspect was the super comfy bed and attractive lodge-style furnishings, adding a cozy touch to our stay.
One downside of our stay was the lack of security. The old-fashioned keys and the need to manually lock the door behind us made us feel a bit uneasy.

Being able to enjoy my morning coffee while watching deer roam around was a highlight. The cabin itself was charming and comfortable, with a rustic and outdoorsy decor that added to the experience. The management was attentive and provided great suggestions for things to do in the area. the well-stocked kitchen and the convenience of being able to cross country ski right from the front door were definite advantages.
The breakfast provided was a bit of a letdown. Expecting a homemade hot breakfast based on reviews, I was disappointed to receive a basket with cereal boxes and juice boxes more appropriate for kids.
